Jen isn't the type of instructor that believes yoga is all about "good vibes only," She recognizes that being human is inherently messy and complicated and always changing. Yoga is something we can practice and live to help us navigate through our lives, no matter what that may bring us. Connecting our minds, bodies, and breath together, we develop very powerful tools for helping us become our best selves. At our own pace. In our own time. As we see fit.

She knows that when it comes to choosing where you practice, there are so many instructors in Western NY. But what sets Jen apart is that she focuses on accessibility. She knows that people sometimes shy away from yoga because they don't think their body is a "yoga body". But she knows firsthand that finding a place where you feel welcomed and accepted, and practicing with an instructor who gets what it means to be inside a body that stands apart can truly be life-changing. Jen has multiple chronic illnesses and mobility restraints, but yoga can be practiced no matter what. ANY body is a "yoga body" and you will feel that while in her classes.

In Jen's classes, you will be given clear cues between each pose so you may seamlessly flow from one pose to another. Multiple variations and choices in poses will be offered, and everyone will be encouraged to always listen to their bodies and respect their needs. You should leave class feeling better than when you walked in!
