We will first move through a series of gentle poses connected by breathwork, followed by several restorative poses, which will be held for 3-5 minutes each. This allows for deep relaxation and resetting the parasympathetic nervous system which controls the body's ability to relax.
This class is perfect for beginner or experienced yogis alike.
Yin yoga is a slower, deeper, more inward-turning style of yoga. Focusing on the fascia and connective tissues in the body, yin can help strengthen the joints, adding stability and balance to the body. This class is great for those who struggle with staying still as it makes you dig deep to find that balance. We will explore myofascial release using tools by Wellround. which eases tightness and pain in connective tissue between muscles and is a perfect complement to a yin practice.
